APECx llc an architectural firm in Baltimore County is seeking to team with a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization looking to qualify for up to $5,000.00 in grant financing for current or future projects requiring architectural and design services.
The purpose of AIA's Small Project Design grant is to provide financial support for non-profit organizations working with architects on community-based projects, by helping cover some of the costs associated with hiring an architect.
APECx llc is a certified Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) architectural design firm and was founded in 2019 with a mission to help our clients save time and money.
The funds can be used to jump start a project, provide concept plans and renderings, marketing material and other documentation that can be used for fundraising, permitting and final construction drawings.
Should you select to partner with APECx llc, funds from the grant can only be used to cover the costs of hiring APECx llc's design services including our fees and reimbursable expenses.

Grant Amount
AIA's Small Project Design Knowledge Community advisory board will be awarding grants up to $5,000. The jury reserves the right to adjust the number or amount of the grants awarded depending on funding availability, quality of entries, quantity of applications, or other factors.

The grant applications will be reviewed by the AIA Small Project Design Knowledge Community advisory board who will serve as the jury.

Requirements for Winning Proposals
The grantee must demonstrate that they have executed a contract with a qualified design team within 6 months of being awarded the grant.
